Legal register
The policies and agreements that govern Techottic, published by Techno Optics LLC. Every document is versioned. A published version is never rewritten: editing publishes a new version, and an acceptance already recorded stays attached to the version it was given for.
Nothing here is published yet, and nothing here is in force. The register holds 8 instruments. They are written in full, and they were written by a non-lawyer as a starting point for a qualified lawyer to rewrite. None of them has been reviewed. None is published on this page until that review happens, because an agreement you would be asked to rely on has to be one both sides can rely on, and an unreviewed one is worth less than none at all.
There is no completion date on this page because a date we invented would be the first thing here you could not check. Nothing in the product meanwhile asks anybody to accept terms that do not exist. Where a real decision belongs to a human, the governing law, the liability caps, the retention periods, the text carries a marked open question rather than a plausible guess. When a document clears review it appears below as its first published version, stamped with the date and the person who published it.
What the register covers
Named here while none of it is published, so you can see what exists rather than guess at it. These are separate instruments rather than chapters of one document, and each is reviewed, published and versioned on its own.
Terms of Service and Master Subscription Agreement
The licence, the commercial terms and the allocation of risk between Techno Optics LLC and the client corporation.
Privacy Policy
What personal data the platform actually stores, why, who it goes to and how long it is kept.
Data Processing Agreement
Techno Optics LLC as processor and service provider, the client as controller. The document a corporate client's legal team asks for.
Acceptable Use Policy
What everyone who signs in may and may not do with the platform.
Service Level Agreement
Availability and support commitments, written against what the platform can actually measure.
Cookie and tracking notice
Every cookie the application sets, taken from the code that sets them. There are two.
Sub-processor list
The third parties in the stack, and which of them are inert without credentials.
Security overview
What the platform does to protect data, and an explicit list of what is not claimed.
How to get the current text
Write to contact@technooptics.com and say which documents you need. You will be sent the current text of each, marked as a draft under review, together with the points still open inside it. A procurement team evaluating the platform gets the whole set rather than the two everybody asks for first. Nothing is signed off the back of a draft, and nothing is presented as settled while it is not.
Questions about a document, or a request to see an earlier version, should go to Techno Optics LLC. An employee whose personal data is held in a client's instance should contact their own employer first, because the employer is the controller of that data.
